So today I stumbled over an amazing music scene that I was completely ignorant to. It is called Wizard Rock, it is rock music all about Harry Potter. Now, this is especially exciting because I LOVE Harry Potter and rock music… It’s a match made in Heaven. There is a very large number of bands that comprise this very amazing music scene including (but not limited to) Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, The Hermione Crookshanks Experiment, The Parselmouths, Ginny and the Heartbreakers, The Basilisk in Your Pasta, The Remus Lupins, The Whomping Willows, and MY PERSONAL FAVORITE Roonil Wazlib.
Words cannot describe the excitement I am feeling right now. I fancy myself a pretty large Harry Potter fan, although I did start my love for Rowling’s wonderful series rather late (I read books 1-7 last August-January) and have only recently (3 weeks ago) seen the movies. I know that my late start may lessen my credibility to the veterans of Harry Potter fandom, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Harry Potter books are totally awesome. Anyway, WIZARD ROCK!! it’s amazing and every HP fan needs to hear it.
